Service Square was founded in the year 2000 and catered to serving the needs of the employees working in large corporate organizations through Employee Loyalty Programme. About 200 services were offered to them. The primary needs of the employees related to paying bills, getting travel tickets, or tickets for movies.

Technology has taken over and made obsolete services like getting travel tickets, paying bills or booking a movie ticket which were the need of the hour when we started our business.

Fortunately for us, while providing all these 200 different services, we focused on building a few select services related to the pressing needs of the individual - house keeping, maintenance, realty, travel & tours and staffing solutions. To ensure each of these services developed, we appointed managers for each of these functions. Their mandate was and is, to keep the eye on the ball and develop services that would provide quality and delight to customers.

Another right thing we did was to establish and nurture a medium of communication with our customers through a weekly bulletin - Chennai This Weekend. Started in the year 2002, CTW informed customers every Friday, (nowadays every Thursday) - without a break all these years - about events, entertainment and new service initiatives at Service Square.
